It is the ultimate television which can change a viewpoint freely and can see the sight of a remote place as if we needed the free viewpoint television FTV (=Free viewpoint TV) which the Tanimoto laboratory is developing on that occasion. We have proposed this FTV to MPEG which is the international standardization organization of a picture. FTV was accepted as most aggressive subject of MPEG by our activity, and, also internationally, has obtained high evaluation by it. |
